Terms of Service
Last updated 10 September 2026
These terms apply when you use the Inferentium.AI API or console. They are written in English for all languages; the English text governs.
The service
Inferentium.AI provides speech-to-text inference over an HTTP API, plus a console for managing keys, credits, and usage. We may add, change, or remove features, and we will give notice of changes that break a documented interface.
Your account and keys
You are responsible for keeping your API keys secret and for all usage billed to them. A key is shown once, when created. If a key is exposed, revoke it in the console — that takes effect immediately. Do not share an account with people who should not see its usage or billing.
Credits and billing
The service is prepaid. Credits are purchased up front and consumed per second of audio processed, at the rate shown on the pricing page. There is no subscription and no minimum commitment.
Credits are reserved when a request starts and settled against the actual duration when it finishes. If a request fails, its reservation is released and you are not charged. Credits have no cash value and are not transferable between accounts.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to process audio you have no right to process, to violate anyone's privacy or applicable law, or to attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service or its underlying models. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to submit any personal data contained in your audio, and for informing the people it concerns where the law requires it.
We may suspend an account that is causing harm to the service or to others, and will tell you why when we do.
Your content
You keep all rights to the audio you submit and the transcripts you receive. You grant us only the permission needed to process your audio and return your transcript. See our privacy page for how that data is handled.
Availability and accuracy
The service is provided as is. Speech recognition is probabilistic: transcripts will contain errors, and accuracy varies with audio quality, accent, vocabulary, and language. Do not rely on transcripts alone for decisions with legal, medical, financial, or safety consequences without human review.
We do not currently offer a uptime commitment on self-serve plans. If you need an SLA, contact us.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service at any time. Unused credits are not refundable unless the law requires otherwise or we agreed otherwise in writing. We may end the agreement if you breach these terms.
Changes and contact
If we change these terms materially we will update the date above and notify account holders by email. Questions go to sales@inferentium.ai.
